New Year’s Good News | CCIG signs contract for delivery base in Nigeria, Africa
Recently, the signing ceremony for the African delivery base of CCIG took place in Kano State, Nigeria. Attendees included Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Governor of Kano State, Malam Muhammadu Sanus I, a member of the Kano royal family, Peter, CEO of CCIG Europe Group , Wang Jingdong, Chairman of Cool East Manufacturing Ltd (Nigeria), Xu Yinguang, Chairman of Weifang Ruichi Automotive Co., Ltd., Liu Jinyou, Director of R&D and Production, Shang Yesheng, General Manager of Ningbo Greenway Automotive Co., Ltd., and Fan Yunjie, General Manager of Anhui BAK New Power Technology Co., Ltd.
The event saw around 200 attendees, including Nigerian government officials, business leaders, local Chinese representatives, and CCIG’s domestic and international partners, who gathered together to witness the signing.
Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf emphasized that this signing is of great significance to the economic and social development of Nigeria, bringing new opportunities for local development. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to CCIG and Cool East Manufacturing for their efforts and contributions and pointed out the importance of driving industrial transformation and building an automotive manufacturing base for both Nigeria and Kano State. The Kano State government will fully support the project, providing comprehensive guarantees for its smooth progression, and hopes the project will soon be operational, contributing to local economic growth and job creation.
Mr. Peter, CEO of CCIG Europe, in his speech, reiterated that the company always adheres to the development philosophy of “Innovation leads, excellence in quality,” and is committed to providing safe, efficient, and intelligent vehicles and electromechanical products to customers. He looks forward to this collaboration as an opportunity to explore deep cooperation with Cool East Manufacturing in the fields of new energy vehicles, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, elevators, and more, with Nigeria as the center, radiating to the African market.
It is reported that the first phase of the delivery base in Kano State, Nigeria, plans to construct an assembly workshop for new energy micro passenger vehicles and a vehicle testing and debugging line, with an annual production capacity of 50,000 new energy micro passenger cars. The second phase will expand into various fields such as commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, elevators, and more. The delivery base will serve surrounding markets such as Chad, Niger, Benin, and Cameroon, positioning it as CCIG’s equipment delivery hub in Africa.The implementation of this project will create a significant number of local job opportunities, increase local residents’ income levels, and promote rapid local economic development. At the same time, it will strengthen industrial exchanges and cooperation between China and Nigeria, promote China’s high-end equipment manufacturing industry to the world, and enhance the international influence and competitiveness of Chinese enterprises.
