OP Mobility, a leading global hydrogen energy solutions provider, successfully held the unveiling of its groundbreaking 70-megapascal high-pressure Type IV hydrogen storage cylinders at an exclusive ceremony on December 5, 2024, at the Plastic Omnium Rein Jiading Factory in Shanghai, China. The unveiling was attended by distinguished guests, including Gu Yifeng, Chairman of CCIG,Laurent Favre, CEO of OP Mobility, Marc Perraudin, President of OP Mobility Hydrogen Energy Business Department, and Senior Group Leaders of Shenergy Group. The 70-megapascal Type IV cylinders are the first of their kind, designed for hydrogen-powered intelligent rail systems, and have recently passed the rigorous R134 certification tests. The ceremony also had a live connection with the CRRC Yibin factory, where the hydrogen storage cylinders will be deployed, providing a real-time demonstration of the product’s application in the field.
