The co-construction agreement of Zhucheng Commercial Vehicle Industry Cluster and and the signing ceremony of CCIG North Base were grandly held in Zhucheng, Shandong, on the morning of December 29th. At the meeting, representatives of Zhucheng government signed cooperation agreements with CCIG and Foton Motor Group.

With a projected investment of 5 billion yuan, the Zhucheng Commercial Vehicle Industry Agglomeration Zone and CCIG North Base project will occupy an area of roughly 2,000 acres. With plans to build high-end specialized vehicles, commercial vehicles, and equipment for urban operation and maintenance, as well as service projects like emergency equipment, military equipment, and export products, it is jointly invested in and constructed by CCIG and Foton Motor Group.

Once finished, it will be able to produce 100,000 vehicles per year and 10,000 specialized vehicles valued at 10 billion yuan. In order to fully realize the benefits of Zhucheng’s automotive industry, the Zhucheng Commercial Vehicle Industry Cluster will connect the upstream and downstream industrial chains of commercial vehicles and specialized vehicles in Zhucheng. It will also form an iron triangle ecosystem that includes Foton Motor, CCIG North, and Zhucheng, and it will serve as a source of innovation and development for domestic commercial vehicles.
